JUDr. Miroslav Miert
received his legal education at the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, where he obtained his Master of Law degree in 2012
He has been working in the field of advocacy since 2013 as a trainee lawyer. In 2015 he passed the rigorous examination in International Law and Criminal Law and received the degree of Doctor of Law. During his practice, he worked at V4 Legal s.r.o., an international law firm operating in Central Europe, where he mainly dealt with commercial and criminal law, specializing in property, economic and tax crimes.
He currently works as an independent lawyer, and his practice mainly deals with the defence of the accused and representation of victims in criminal proceedings and litigation in commercial and civil court proceedings. He also specializes in the recovery of damages and non-pecuniary harm after traffic accidents, work injuries or unlawful accusations and detention.
